Spreng Thomson team member selected as a top 100 talent under 30

Posted: 13th September 2018

Dylan Macdonald to join UK & Ireland’s most innovative young talents at this year’s UPRISE Festival.

Digital Communication Consultant, Dylan Macdonald, will be taking part in this year’s 100y programme at UPRISE Festival in October. Hosted in Dublin, UPRISE Festival brings together corporate and start-up talent from across the globe to network and collaborate across numerous sectors with a focus on the ever changing technological landscape.

UPRISE Festival’s 100y programme, gathers a select group of 100 individuals from across the UK and Ireland in order to connect, inspire and build tomorrow’s next big projects. Programme members will be given all access passes for the two-day event in Dublin as well as numerous networking and business development opportunities over the months following the festival.

With pitch battles, roundtable discussions and networking events, UPRISE Festival allows the talented participants to meet and be creative across a wide range of skillsets and backgrounds, something which traditional conferences often lack. This year, UPRISE Festival will be introducing their business ‘matchmaker’ app which is designed to take the hassle out of finding people relevant to your business.

Lesley Thomson, one of Spreng Thomson’s Managing Directors said:

“It’s a great credit to Dylan that he has been selected to attend the 2018 UPRISE Festival. The opportunity to connect with inspiring speakers and ambitious young people from around the world will be a great benefit to Dylan and Spreng Thomson.”

In recent months, Spreng Thomson has strengthened their digital communications offering considerably with the recruitment of Dylan Macdonald and Laura Griffin. Both have marketing backgrounds across a number of entrepreneurial industries and will support Spreng Thomson’s drive to put digital at the forefront of their work.

Dylan said this about his hopes for the 100y programme:

“I’m thrilled to have been selected alongside some of the most innovative and exciting individuals across the UK and Ireland. I’m looking forward to representing Spreng Thomson and bringing my skills and experience to the event, hopefully learning a lot and contributing where possible.”

UPRISE Festival takes place on the 17th and 18th October 2018 at The Richmond, in Dublin. Tickets for this are still available at https://uprisefestival.co/tickets/
