ScottishPower helps small businesses access lower energy prices with innovative new tariff

ScottishPower is helping UK businesses benefit from lower prices and take more control of their energy costs with a new tariff. Advantage for Business is designed to give small businesses greater flexibility in a volatile energy market by enabling them to benefit if prices drop during the final 12 months of their contract.

Once a business customer enters the final 12 months of their contract, ScottishPower will provide price alerts if their energy prices drop. Customers can then choose to move the lower rate immediately, or lock in lower prices for their next contract, without needing to constantly monitor the market themselves.

Advantage for Business builds on ScottishPower’s move to supply 100% renewable electricity as standard across all SME electricity products, supporting customers who want their energy choices to align with sustainability goals.

YouGov research commissioned by ScottishPower shows that many SMEs want to make more informed choices about their energy, but don’t always have the time or certainty to do so. Advantage for Business is designed to change that by giving business customers greater visibility of market price movements and the ability to act quickly when a better deal becomes available.
