Today, 6^th July 2017, the latest figures from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) show that Queen Margaret University (QMU), Edinburgh has the highest graduate employment rate of any Scottish university and has the third highest employability rate amongst all UK higher education institutions. 98.2% of those graduating from a full time undergraduate degree course at QMU go on to employment or further training within six months of graduating. The Scottish university sector average is 95.2%.

The information was released by HESA, which published the UK performance indicators relating to the employment outcomes of students six months after completing their qualification. The statistics are based on students who graduated in July 2016.

Professor Petra Wend, Principal of Queen Margaret University, said: “We are delighted that our efforts to improve continuously the employability of QMU students is reflected in today’s figures.
