Promoting good Mental Health in the workplace
Lindsays is delighted to be partnering with SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) to deliver a webinar entitled: “Promoting good Mental Health in the workplace” on Tuesday 16th March 2021 from 10.00am to 10.45am.
Poor mental health is now the most common cause of sickness absence in the workplace. The Coronavirus pandemic forced many organisations, teams and individuals to adapt to the challenges of working in different ways quickly. Whether you’re an employer, a HR professional, a manager of a team or an employee, the way in which you work has changed and this session will provide you with insight on how this and the ongoing uncertainty can impact wellbeing and mental health along with practical and useful tools to support good mental health in the workplace.
Welcomed by Head of Employment Law at Lindsays, Ben Doherty, Julie-Ann Murphy (Head of HR at SAMH) will share why considering your people alongside your finance, risk and customer plans underpins employee wellbeing, productivity and engagement in the workplace. Oxana MacGregor-Gunn (Head of Employment at SAMH) will then discuss warning signs for managers to look out for when managing their team and highlight where they can go for support as well as encouraging employees to seek support too.
