Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons is expanding its European footprint into Poland, announcing plans to open in Warsaw in mid-2026.

The office will strengthen the firm’s pan-European offering and establish its presence in Central and Eastern Europe.

The founding team will comprise of six partners, all highly reputed individuals who collectively bring top-tier expertise across real estate, corporate/ M&A, banking & finance and construction. The firm also intends to develop further practices in due course.

Andrew Masraf, Senior Partner at Pinsent Masons, said: “Further scaling up our capabilities in Europe in order to meet the evolving needs of our clients remains a strategic objective for us. Poland, as one of Europe’s most resilient and dynamic economies, adds a valuable component to our pan-European offering. It is a key market for a number of our clients, particularly those in Western Europe, and remains an important investment destination in Central and Eastern Europe.

“We’re launching with a stellar founding team whose reputation precedes them in the Polish market. They possess an extraordinary breadth of expertise, complemented by a long-standing collegiate relationship. Most importantly, they embody the mindset that drives our people to deliver differently; they’re forward-thinking, collaborative and recognise the value of connectivity in a global business.”

The Warsaw office will be led by Bartek Kordeczka and Jakub Marcinkowski.

Bartek Kordeczka says: “The Polish market presents a major opportunity for international firms, with Warsaw becoming increasingly recognised as a legal and commercial hub in the CEE region. Pinsent Masons already has a strong network of European offices and this expansion into Poland provides another dimension for supporting the cross-border needs of its clients.

“I’ve known and worked with our founding team for a number of years, so can speak on behalf of us all in saying that collectively we have the shared ambition and tenacity to establish Pinsent Masons as a market leader in Poland and CEE.”

Jakub Marcinkowski adds: “Warsaw serves as a strategic base for managing English-law governed transactions across CEE, with substantial demand for M&A, banking and real estate services. Our founding team brings extensive experience in all of these areas, setting us in excellent stead to integrate with Pinsent Masons multi-national network and deliver against both local and international client needs.”
