The European Centre of Technology (ECT) will be running its next Digital Marketing and Communications at Edinburgh Napier University in March, following the success of the same course in November last year.   The Edinburgh Digital Marketing and Communications course will take an in-depth look at the subject, with a focus on understanding what Digital Marketing is, the planning and marketing of a Digital Strategy and an in-depth look at Search Engine Optimisation.

Open to beginners as well as more experienced individuals, the course starts from an introductory level and progresses on to more advanced material over the two days. The ECT’s Digital Marketing and Communications course is designed to equip both businesses and individuals with the required digital skills and strategy to be successful in the fast-paced digital environment.

Taking place on the 16th – 17th March 2017, the Digital Marketing and Communications course continues the ECT’s commitment to high quality teaching and development, which has been established throughout 40 years of expertise delivering best practice in technical training.   Participants on the previous Edinburgh-based Digital Marketing and Communications course were enthusiastic about the content and presentation of the course.

Catriona Coan from Natural Power said “The Digital Marketing tools the lecturer shared with the class were really useful, and I will be able to apply them to my day-to-day work.”

Ewan Grant from Borthwick Castle also found the course useful for his career: “I gained greater awareness of online channels, along with tools for measurement and planning: I will use these to apply a more structured approach to my digital marketing strategy.”

The class at Napier University is taught by a Digital Marketing expert with many years of experience in the industry and, like all ECT courses, the course is constantly reviewed and updated in order to feature the most up-to-date subject matter and themes. Upon conclusion of this course, all participants are eligible to sit an exam for the internationally recognised Galileo Master Certificate (GMC), which is achieved by more than 5000 participants each year from 127 countries worldwide.

The ECT works in partnership with world-leading universities and the United Nations Environment Programme to offer acclaimed education programmes and conferences, with previous participants including representatives from Mitsubishi, Deutsche Bank and the UK Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
