Scotland’s first national business five-a-side tournament launches its Professional services heat.

We are delighted to announce the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce as our industry partner for the Professional Services heat in Scotland’s first ever national business 5-a-side tournament..

The tournament organised by Business Fives takes place throughout the summer and will raise money for The Trussell Trust foodbank network.  With 8 sector heats taking place representing the entirety of the Scottish economy from Finance to Energy, from Housing to Technology the first heat sees Scotland’s Professional Services sector gather at the Sighthill Powerleague in Edinburgh.

In what we’re sure will be a great event, the professional services heat will take place on Thursday 11 August in Edinburgh and will be a great networking opportunity for all individuals taking part.  It’s the chance for industries to unite with the two finalists from each heat progressing to the national final at Hampden.

Liz McAreavey, Acting Chief Executive, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce  said “This is a great initiative bringing together business, sport and fun whilst enabling to get more engaged in supporting the City’s ‘Responsible Business’ campaign delivered in partnership with City of Edinburgh Council’

As well as being a great networking opportunity for Scottish Businesses Ian Esson, Scotland Partnership Coordinator for Business Fives charity partner, the Trussell Trust explained “We are delighted that Business Fives has chosen to partner with The Trussell Trust network of foodbanks in Scotland. These contributions will literally transform the lives of men, women and children across the whole of Scotland who are unable to put food on the table by ensuring we support our foodbanks well so they can support our communities well.”

With places limited to 16 teams per sector heat why not come along to your sectors tournament and get the office buzzing with some friendly rivalry before the tournament of the year.
