Posted: 16th February 2021

£60 million for newly self-employed, close contact businesses and driving instructors

The Scottish Government have announced two new business support funds that will be open for applications from 10:30am this morning.

These are the Mobile Close Contact Fund and the Newly Self-Employed Hardship Fund, the latter re-opening for a second round of applications.

The Mobile Close Contact Fund is for mobile and home-based close contact service businesses – such as make-up artists and hairdressers – as well as registered driving instructors.

Both funds will provide £4,000 grants to successful applicants. Full eligibility details are available at the links below.
