New member benefit – International B2B platform COBCOE Connects

Posted: 8th May 2018

On the 19th of April, the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce became the first Chamber in Scotland to join COBCOE Connects, an innovative B2B digital platform. The platform was designed by COBCOE, the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe, and TIAO, an IT company based in Belgium, to help companies grow their business through easy access to contacts in new markets.

The platform offers the opportunity to connect with the members of all the British Chambers of Commerce across the world.

COBCOE’s CEO, Anne-Marie Martin said at the launch event “We have created a platform that brings together a network of potential business partners within a digital space, provides effective solutions for those international trade needs and throws in expert business development assistance via chamber moderators to help you through the entire business journey.”

Alexia Haramis, Head of Corporate & International Development, added “Having previously worked in Spain as the Director of the British Chamber of Commerce, I can see how useful it would be for Scottish businesses to make use of global contacts via the international network of British chambers. We hope that local businesses will take advantage of this platform to explore the numerous business opportunities it can lead to”

For more information about the platform, contact Sophie-Lou Arcese Le Nir (Sophie-lou.arceselenir@edinburghchamber.co.uk), International Executive and moderator of COBCOE Connects Edinburgh.
