Edinburgh based O’Leary PR have appointed Paul Surgenor as PR Intern, during the busy summer period.

Paul (21) joined the team as part of the Santander funded Internship programme, which supports small to medium-sized enterprises to host recent graduates in exciting and vibrant workplaces.

With previous internship experience involving in-house roles at Dobbies Garden Centres, Scottish Water International and Flavours Holidays, he is keen to gain experience in an agency environment whilst supporting O’Leary’s diverse client base.

Paul will be aiding in the preparation for the 176th Royal Highland Show as well as assisting a number of other clients, reflecting the increasing client base of the growing agency.

Paul moved from Falkirk, where he was born and brought up, to Edinburgh to complete his Public Relations and Media degree at Queen Margaret University.

Speaking of his appointment, Paul said: “O’Leary PR have an exciting range of clients who I’m really looking forward to getting to know. I think joining this creative agency team is the perfect way to start my career.”
