New Addition to the Meetings & Incentives Market

Posted: 15th February 2016

In a new development for 2016, The Royal Yacht Britannia, can now offer flexible meeting and conference facilities, as part of its suite of hospitality packages, in partnership with The Vine Trust.

The Vine Trust’s multi-award winning Barge is berthed in the Prince of Wales dock, Leith, close to Britannia. The landmark venue provides the ideal setting for meetings, a perfect complement to an exclusive evening drinks reception, private tour or corporate dinner on board Her Majesty’s Royal Yacht.

The new facility can accommodate up to 60 delegates, with a choice of meeting spaces, including the Glass Room, with panoramic views, the 20-seater Cinema Room and the Training Room. Combined with an outdoor deck area, the barge provides a light and versatile meeting space. Full facilities are included in the package, sound system, projector, screens and smart board. Catering is also provided by Britannia’s onboard team and clients will have their own dedicated events manager to help every step of the way.

Andrew Thomson, Britannia’s Head of Hospitality & Events commented, “We are delighted to announce this new partnership which, for the first time, will allow us to offer our clients a complete package, with meeting space as well as an exclusive venue for dinner.”
