Lynn Baxter and Jamie McCall join the Board of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has appointed Lynn Baxter and Jamie McCall as two new members of the Board as the organisation continues strategic growth.
These appointments follow the success of the 2025 Show and 75th year celebrations, which enabled a record £1.5 million charitable donation, and the recent announcement that Chris Edmonds will lead the Board as Chair from September 2026.
Currently Global Brand Marketing Director (CMO) at Barbour, Jamie McCall joins The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo as a Board member bringing extensive international brand and marketing experience from leadership roles throughout his career. At Nike, he spent almost two decades leading global brand and consumer strategy across Europe.
Jamie also serves on the Board of Trustees for Street Soccer, the charity using the power of sport to tackle social inequality across the UK. His appointment reflects The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo’s commitment to strengthening the brand both at home and internationally.
Lynn Baxter joins the Board with a wealth of international business leadership experience from senior strategic and operational roles. She is currently President, Europe, at GSK, and serves on the Boards of ViiV Healthcare and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations.
Having lived and worked across the Americas, Asia and Europe, Lynn brings deep expertise in driving transformation, innovation and organisational growth at scale. A proud Scot, she has a strong appreciation for the role the Tattoo plays in celebrating heritage and bringing communities together on a global stage.
Her appointment signals The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo’s continuing strategic ambition to evolve, diversify and grow, enabling greater charitable contribution.
Jamie McCall said: “I am delighted to join the Tattoo in this capacity on the board. It is a brand I have admired for some time and it’s recent successes in the UK and beyond mean this is an exciting time for me to get stuck in.”
Lynn Baxter said: “I am excited to have the opportunity to contribute to this world class organisation, building on its strong heritage and success to support the next phase of growth and diversification.”
