LNER is offering more discounted tickets than ever before as part of the Great British Rail Sale.

The week-long rail sale launched yesterday and will run until Monday 12 January 2026.

Customers can make savings of up to 50%* on selected LNER Advance tickets. One million tickets are available between destinations including York and Newcastle from as little as £8.35 and London and Edinburgh from just £27.85.

The Great British Rail Sale tickets cover trips to and from various towns and cities, including Edinburgh, Newcastle, Doncaster, York and London. Tickets are available to book, subject to availability, for travel Monday to Thursday between 13 January and 25 March 2026 inclusive. Tickets must be booked at least seven days in advance of travel.
