Lindsays Commercial Property Experts are Attending MIPIM 2016

Posted: 3rd March 2016

Head of Commercial Property at Lindsays, Derek Nash, and Partner Alastair Goodman, are looking forward to attending MIPIM, the world’s leading property trade show where the key players in the commercial property market gather to discuss and progress development projects.

MIPIM takes place annually in France bringing together the most influential players from across all of the international property sectors. It provides the opportunity to gain a wider perspective of the market, and end users as well as private and institutional investors use the event to explore wider markets and opportunities. Our client base includes major banks, universities, retailers, developers, house builders, landlords and charities.

MIPIM 2016 will be welcoming 21,400 international delegates from 89 countries, including 3,560 investors, architects, planners and developers, and more than 360 journalists.  MIPIM takes place from 15-18 March 2016 in Cannes, France.

Derek Nash commented: “Foreign investments in to the UK commercial property market increased 6% from 2014 to 2015 totalling £27.8 billion and the continuing demand for assets such as hotels and student accommodation means that MIPIM is an enormous opportunity for us to make connections.”

Alastair Goodman said: “We are definitely seeing an increase in transaction levels as a result of the improving economy.  The expectation is that the continuing low interest rates and inflation as well as rising employment will support this growth in 2016.”

Lindsays Commercial Property team handle a complete range of property transactions and services, from acquisition and sale of property, commercial leasing, development and investment through to property dispute resolution, mediation and litigation.
