Lindsays appoints new Partner in Perth
Commercial Property lawyer Keith Rawlinson joins leading Scottish independent firm as it advises increasing number of clients across the region
Legal firm Lindsays is continuing to strengthen its Perth-based team with the appointment of a new Partner.
Commercial Property lawyer Keith Rawlinson joins the leading independent firm as the number of people and businesses it works with throughout Perthshire and across Tayside sits at an all-time high. His appointment is one which will add further depth to Lindsays’ work with property owners, investors and developers across the region.
Mr Rawlinson, who lives in Crieff, where Lindsays also has an office, brings with him more than 20 years’ experience of advising in areas including landlord and tenant issues, asset management, and property investment and development.
On his new role, which he started today (1 September 2025), he said: “There are exciting opportunities for Lindsays, as a full-service firm, to grow in Perth and throughout the wider region. I am delighted to have joined and am looking forward to playing my part in that.
“What’s really drawn me into this role is that Lindsays provides a genuinely local client-centred service, but with a national perspective. Our team on the ground knows local people and the local market. But we are able to draw on wider experience and insight from colleagues in our other offices. That’s what makes this firm – and this opportunity – really stand out for me.
“There is also significant potential to work with businesses looking to invest and create jobs locally to help them achieve their goals and grow the region’s economy.”
Lindsays employs 32 lawyers and staff across its offices in Perth and Crieff.
The chance to work in his home region was also a major attraction for Mr Rawlinson, who joins Lindsays from Davidson Chalmers Stewart in Edinburgh, where he was a Senior Director.
His career to date has also included a spell working in London working as Underwriting Director with a large insurance firm.
Alasdair Cummings, Managing Partner of Lindsays, welcomed Mr Rawlinson to the firm.
He said: “Keith is a great addition to our team in Perthshire. His experience and insight will deliver real benefits to clients and their businesses, as well as supporting our own ambitions to invest further in our work across the region. Everyone’s looking forward to working with him.”
Lindsays also has offices in Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
