Josh Campbell Signs New Deal!
We are delighted to announce that promising young midfielder Josh Campbell has put pen-to-paper on a new deal.
The 21-year-old Academy graduate has signed a new contract that runs until the summer of 2025.
Campbell, a box-to-box midfielder that’s blessed with attacking talent, made his competitive debut for Hibs in the 2019/20 Betfred Cup campaign featuring against Stirling Albion and Alloa Athletic.
After his debut, important loan spells followed at Airdrieonians, Arbroath, and Edinburgh City, where Josh gained regular experience of men’s football.
He then worked hard over the summer and put himself in Jack Ross’ mindset for the current campaign, which has seen him start in a Europa Conference League match and the semi-final of the Premier Sports Cup.
On Josh Campbell’s new contract, Manager Jack Ross commented: “Josh has been at the club for a number of years and desperately wants to do well for Hibernian FC.
“He’s made significant progress compared to where he was this time last season and we’re constantly working to help him develop his game and a consistency in everything he does.
“We want to keep our best young players at the club, and we’re pleased that Josh has agreed this new deal with us.”
