Join the Kickstart Scheme Virtual Roundtable hosted by Heriot-Watt University / Department for Work and Pensions
Getting young Scottish people into work in the wake of the pandemic is a top priority. One of the ways the UK Government is helping to achieve this is through the Kickstart Scheme. For six months they will fund employers to provide a job role for a young person.
Working with Heriot-Watt University, the Department for Work and Pensions would like to invite you to a virtual roundtable on Wednesday 28 July, 1-2pm. It will be an opportunity for you to hear more about Kickstart and the apprenticeships run by the University. These schemes will not only give young people their first step on the career ladder but can help your business to flourish and grow.
Attending the event will be Baroness Stedman-Scott, Minister for Work and Pensions (Lords) and Dr Gillian Murray, Deputy Principal (Enterprise and Business) at Heriot-Watt University. There will be an opportunity for you to ask them both questions during the r0undtable event.
