JCI Edinburgh launches Membership Support Fund to support young professionals
The past year has been very challenging for all – with many people being on furlough or even losing their job, and development opportunities coming to a halt. Many people have turned to the internet for online courses to keep up their development.
Local organisation, JCI Edinburgh, has continued to provide development opportunities online and is now launching a Membership Support Fund to support young professionals aged 18-40 years old with personal and professional development opportunities. There are no requirements for people to apply to this fund aside from the age limit and they should be located in Edinburgh or the Lothians.
The Membership Support Fund will offer a one-year membership at a significantly reduced membership fee for JCI Edinburgh. This will give you free access or reduced ticket access to workshops, events, and conferences in Edinburgh, Scotland, and the rest of the world. JCI is a global organisation with local organisations in almost every country in the world.
Valérie van Kemenade, JCI Edinburgh Local President said:
“JCI Edinburgh has given me endless opportunities for development. It helped me a lot in my job search and led to a new job opportunity on multiple occasions. Through JCI I have expanded my personal and professional network tremendously and I have gained a lot more confidence. It has been a very positive boost for my personal and professional life and I can’t recommend it enough to fellow young professionals out there”.
