It’s exciting to see how participants are using the Inclusive Islands programme to plan for the future with optimism – continuing make real lasting change in their communities through their social enterprises.”
Stephanie Arifin, Director of PLUS (Platform Usaha Sosial), said:
“The enthusiasm of the participants and the bond they formed with each other brings us comfort and assurance on the longevity of the community they will build, beyond our project timeline or constraints. Their dedication and passion not just for their social enterprise, but also for the community in their own rights, are inspiring and we are thrilled to be a part of the process. As iron sharpens iron, we can continue to build each other up for a stronger social enterprise and social enterprise community in Indonesia.”
Atikah Risyad, Founder of FAM: Family Farm Lintau, and Inclusive Islands participant, said:
“Being part of Inclusive Islands will have a positive impact on the community in West Sumatra. Sharing experiences with friends from other regions has already given me a different perspective on things, and taking part in this programme has made me realise that I’m not the only one working for a better and more inclusive Indonesia.”
