In the live webinar you’ll hear from Rod MacDonald OBE (RAE Visiting Professor, Holistic Civil Engineering, Heriot-Watt) who will give an overview of the key challenges facing the sector, such as climate change and sustainability.
You’ll also hear from Dr Laurent Galbrun and Dr Graeme Bowles, programme directors for Heriot-Watt’s Civil Engineering (CE) and Construction and the Built Environment (CBE) Graduate Apprenticeships programmes. Laurent and Graeme will give an overview of the CE and CBE GA programmes and explain how these can build key skills to help companies face these challenges head on.
The webinar also features Sarah Forbes from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). Sarah will give an overview of the CITB, what it does and the types of funding and grants that are available.
