Silicon Catalyst, the world’s only semiconductor incubator, and GRID at Heriot-Watt University have launched a new collaborative partnership designed to drive the development and launch of companies
utilising next-generation semiconductor technologies.
Together Silicon Catalyst and GRID at Heriot-Watt University are focused on developing high-growth opportunities and equipping aspiring Scottish based semiconductor ventures to transform into scale-ups.
The global semiconductor chip industry is entering a period of robust growth and is expected to reach about US$600 billion in 2022 – the opportunity for start-ups and university research teams to commercialise their innovations have never been better.
