Expansion plans with London Calling

Fast Growing Edinburgh based Be-IT Resourcing is laying the groundwork for expansion plans, with offices earmarked for London and Frankfurt. Managing Director Gareth Biggerstaff has drafted in Kai Murray as a Non Executive Director to oversee the ambitious transition phase. She is an experienced business growth consultant with 30 years’ experience in the UK recruitment sector.
Gareth said: “We are aiming to have a London presence by the summer and be up and running in the German market within the next 18 months.“Kai ticks all the boxes and she will assume responsibility for aligning our business strategy and expansion plans in both the short and medium term. We are delighted to have secured someone with such an outstanding reputation in the sector.”
Re-structuring at the Queen Street firm sees Alma Kettles promoted to associate director for process and quality; Stuart Alexander is now business operational manager; and senior consultant Ami Islam joins Gareth and Kai in spearheading the drive into the London IT recruitment market. Meanwhile, Be-IT have appointed Owen Howells to lay the groundwork for the 2017 Frankfurt hub. Gareth said: “Owen has amassed 15 years specialist experience in the German, Swiss and Austrian recruitment market and DACH region and he is a welcome addition to our team. “The demand for IT specialists is increasing all the time and we see London and Frankfurt as obvious magnets for growing our business.”
