In October we are delighted to welcome Brigadier David Allfrey, to our latest Leadership Session of 2018.
The aim of our Leadership Session is to provide professional development at director level and above to our Partners in Enterprise and Capital City Corporate Members.
Each session with be themed with a business relevant subject with time allocated for high level networking. This is an opportunity for knowledge exchange, high level introductions and to create a supportive community.
About Brigadier David Allfrey
David Allfrey retired from the Army in 2011 to become Producer & Chief Executive of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo following a varied 33-year military career which included command of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and 51st (Scottish) Brigade. He is now Colonel of the Regiment for the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards.
He has delivered many civil/military spectaculars over the years including the D Day Commemorations along the south coast, Armed Forces Day celebrations in Scotland, the award winning Pipers Trail, the Launch of the Scottish World War 1 Commemorative Programme, major charities concerts in Edinburgh and eight Tattoos.  Since 2011, the Tattoo has delivered 35 shows in Edinburgh, Melbourne and Wellington - a total of 1,780,000 tickets sold!  
David is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and an alumnus of the Windsor Leadership Trust.  He is the Scottish Tourism Alliance Champion for Events and Festivals, a Director of Festivals Edinburgh, a member of the Scottish Commemorations Panel, a Senior Associate Fellow of the Institute for Statecraft, International Advisory Council Member for the Asia Scotland Institute and a Visiting Professor at Edinburgh Napier University.
