Top four trade mission goals:
  1. To gain insight on the possibility of potential buyers for your products/services in Shenzhen
  2. To generate potential new customers, and explore partnership opportunities with Chinese organisations
  3. To gain insight of the Chinese market including support in market, legal and financial considerations
  4. To meet with cultural organisations and share knowledge and ideas.
The mission will be delivered online over 3 days from Wednesday 14th to Friday 16th July 2021.

This 3-day mission will consist of short morning sessions and market briefing sessions in collaboration and with the support of the Shenzhen Creative Investment Group. The mission will be launched at the International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), taking place digitally with the support of the depart for Foreign Affairs Shenzhen. Delegates will take part in an Edinburgh focussed event where they will have an opportunity to pitch their business to an audience of Chinese businesses as well as share video showcasing their products and services.

Delegates will also have  face-to-face meetings (minimum of B2B meetings). The full agenda will be shared with attendees prior to the mission.

Is my business eligible to apply?
All sizes of businesses can apply for the virtual trade mission to China and it is open to both members and non-members of Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce. You must be a company based in Scotland.

Please note that due to the time zone difference with Shenzhen (+ 8 hours) events may begin earlier than usual (usually 8am) in order to accommodate our Chinese partners.
