China’s first Special Economic Zone, and the country’s only UNESCO City of Design, Shenzhen is one of the world’s most vibrant and exciting new cities.  In the heart to the Grater Bay Area, across-river from Hong Kong, it offers a unique gateway to a consumer population of 1.4 billion people valued at $6 Trillion (US).

The mission
Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, together with Edinburgh Global Limited will lead a mission to Shenzhen in May 2020.  The trip offers an introduction to Shenzhen including the wider China market and collaboration opportunities; bespoke in-market business to business meetings;  and the chance to exhibit at the Shenzhen International Cultural Industries Fair 2020. 

The International Cultural Industries Fair
China’s largest national trade fair focusing on the Cultural and Creative industries attracts delegates and exhibitors from China and all over the world.  The event has grown exponentially over its 15-year life and in 2020 the 16th Fair will take place in Shenzhen’s brand-new World Exhibition and Convention Centre spanning an incredible half-million square meters.
