During this workshop CodeClan will answer a number of questions, uncovering the true value data has for your business. One of their Data Analysis Instructors will explain what you can realistically do with your data to produce valuable outputs for your business. We’ll also look at the function of some different data roles; data analyst; data scientist; and data engineer; to help you to understand the skills your business might need to make the most of your data.

About our speaker
Stephanie Boyle, Senior Instructor and Data Team Lead at CodeClan
Steph comes from an academic background, achieving a PhD in cognitive neuroscience while teaching data analysis at the University of Glasgow. She then transitioned into industry, where she worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a lead data analyst. Steph is now a Senior Data Instructor at CodeClan, where she teaches on bootcamps aimed at helping people retrain and often, start their career in Tech. She is passionate about teaching people to code and about how to use data well, and thinks the future is really bright for those wanting to enter data science.
