Roundtable Discussion : How can businesses in Edinburgh lower their carbon emissions?

@ Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Delivered Online Midlothian

8th October, 2020 09:00-10:00 Event
Prior to covid-19, businesses in Edinburgh were exploring how to lower their carbon emissions in light of net-zero targets set by Scottish Government and the City of Edinburgh, and other drivers such as customer attitudes and sustainability indexes. The economic shock of covid-19 is profound and as yet not fully quantified. The Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce and the University of Edinburgh would like to invite you to a round table discussion about how we lock-in sustainable business practices to the post-covid landscape, and offer practical examples of how your company can work to lower emissions in these uncertain times.

Speakers: Dr Kathi Kaesehage and Dr Ian Cochran from the Centre for Business, Climate Change, and Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh Business School; and Clare Wharmby, Innovation Manager at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation.
Please RSVP to events@edinburghchamber.co.uk if you’d like to join the online meeting. Joining instructions will be circulated ahead of the event.
This event is for Partners and Corporate Members of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce.
