Exploring the Irish market

Exploring the Irish market

@ Consulate General of Ireland 16 Randolph Crescent Edinburgh None EH3 7TT

22nd May, 2019 08:30-10:00 Event
In 2017, UK exports to Ireland were worth £34.0 billion; imports from Ireland were £21.8 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of £12.2 billion with Ireland.

The country offers many opportunities in sectors such as beverage, pharmaceuticals, medical technologies, financial services and more. Ireland offers many advantages for Scottish businesses as it is geographically close and shares the same language, time zone as well as a similar culture. Ireland also benefits from a strong and flexible economic environment highly favourable for SMEs.

Join us for a breakfast event where you will hear from a panel of distinguished speakers, including representatives from the Irish Consulate in Edinburgh and Causeway who will highlight the business opportunities in Ireland and the support on offer. A case study business will join us to illustrate what the Irish market has to offer.
