Our Developing Edinburgh series of events offer an insight into the changing face of our city. From transport updates, to construction and development plans, to City Deals, all from prominent business leaders, these events will ensure you are clued up on the great work going into Scotland’s capital.

Join us for an expert-led insight into the future of Edinburgh’s treasured city-centre green space from The Quaich Project’s Managing Director David Ellis and key members of the architectural, engineering and horticultural teams.

The Quaich Project at West Princes Street Gardens represents the next evolutionary chapter in the story of one of Edinburgh’s most famous landmark locations. The vision is to reimagine this historic place as a space for all to celebrate and enjoy in new ways – with dynamic architectural designs and innovative facilities – all the time being respectful to the people, wildlife, landscape and heritage of Scotland’s capital.

At this event, David will lead an interactive and informative discussion about this inclusive development of West Princes Street Gardens and how it will benefit businesses, individuals and the wider community through increased biodiversity, greater accessibility and improved facilities.

Following the successful renovation of the Victorian gardener’s cottage and restoration of the Ross Fountain, The Quaich Project is set to put West Princes Street Gardens on the global map alongside the likes of New York’s Highline and Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay as one of the world’s most accessible, iconic and respected urban green spaces.

This event will be hosted in West Princes Street Gardens, within a specially constructed venue. As well as an update from David and the team, attendees will enjoy breakfast, refreshments, and an opportunity to network with other business leaders within Edinburgh.
