Canada is one of the top major trade partners for the UK and a continually growing export-partner for Scotland with exports of goods and services totalling £580 million in 2017.
Join us for an informative lunch with a wealth of knowledgeable speakers including the Senior Investment Officer & Trade Commissioner, from High Commissioner of Canada in the UK, and a representative from the Scottish Development International.
SDI will give an overview of the Canadian market highlighting the business opportunities in Canada, the key sectors and areas of growth, business statistics in Canada and business etiquette. James Macsween from the well-known Scottish Macsween haggis company will also join us to share his experience of entering the Canadian market. This event will provide you with the chance to hear about all the support on offer from the Canadian High Commission, SDI and the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce to Scottish companies.
This event is open to both members and non-members of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce on a complimentary basis. Sandwich lunch will be provided.
