Not in education, training or employment, Kai, wasn’t sure what he’d do next when he started Move on Wood Recycling’s Building Brighter Futures course. An eight week employability programme, the course supports young people to gain SQA qualifications, manual handling training, their CSCS card and work experience.

After successfully completing the course, Kai secured a Community Jobs Scotland job in our Move On Wood Recycling workshop. In our new YouTube video, he shares how the role gave him the opportunity to learn new skills and increase his confidence.

Since finishing his contract in December 2019, Kai has already been employed full time with LEMAC, an electric motor manufacturer. We want to say an enormous congratulations to Kai for everything he has achieved since we first met him, and wish him the best of luck for a bright future!
