EMPLOYERS URGED TO SCORE WITH HIBS AT DISABILITY EVENT

hibsevent

Local employers are being urged to attend an event designed to help businesses be more confident in offering jobs to people with disabilities. Hibernian FC and Joined Up For Business are working in partnership to deliver a free networking event to businesses on “Employ with Confidence” as part of “Disability Confident”, sponsored by the Shaw Trust. Edinburgh East MP Tommy Sheppard will speak, as will Hibernian Chief Executive Leeann Dempster who will explain why the Club is signing up as Disability Confident committed employer.

The event takes place at Easter Road Stadium on Friday, November 18th at 1.30pm – and the William Hill Scottish Cup will also make an appearance!

Leeann Dempster said: “As a responsible business, Hibernian is committed to offering opportunities to all and to ensuring that we maximise the talents and possibilities of everyone.”

Local employability and training providers will be on hand offering information on funding and resource support, and exhibitors will also offer information and assistance on general recruitment, employee development and retention.
