Edinburgh Curling Club is located at the Murrayfield Curling Hall. It is a seven sheet curling facility located in the heart of Scotland’s capital city of Edinburgh – the only curling facility in the Capital.

Their ice is primarily used by 1,800 members for club curling but they strive to accommodate corporate outings where available. They also host a range of friendly matches and open competitions throughout the year.

Over the last two years the club has invested heavily in the facility to create a premier Curling offering spending a total of £1.2m of which over £800,000 has been raised from members.

As part of this investment in the sport of Curling they are purchasing 14 sets of new stones (8 in a set), with the old ones having reached their end of useful life at 13 years.

All of the old stones were sponsored (many by local businesses) and carried the name of that sponsor.  The club are now offering the opportunity for companies to sponsor the new stones at a cost of £1,000 per set. Based on the previous stones this works out at under £77 per year and represents great value for money.
