Members of the Edinburgh College International and Engineering teams will be in Aberdeen next month to promote the College’s engineering expertise to potential partners from around the globe.

The four-day event sees Oil and Gas stakeholders from across the world meet in Aberdeen to discuss technological developments in the industry and forge new partnerships.

Edinburgh College currently works with over 2,000 industry partners and is looking to expand its international profile by drawing on its expertise in technical and vocational education to align itself more closely with the global oil and gas sector.

With a range of traditional scheduled courses in areas such as Instrumentation and Control as well as courses, including an HNC Mechanical Engineering course, delivered using innovative distance learning technology, the College is at the forefront of modern engineering training.

The College also has a range of training facilities at its Midlothian campus, such as an Oil Production Platform Simulator and specialist Instrumentation and Control engineering workshops, making it well-equipped to provide bespoke courses to international clients.
