Could your business offer a student real CV/career-enhancing opportunities?

Find out about the Queen Margaret University’s Santander Universities Employability Scheme.

The programme offers fully-funded internships (basic salary only) for up to 108 hours work.

  • Santander Universities will fully fund each student / graduate basic salary to a maximum of £1,000, for example hiring a student to fulfil 100 hours work at £10 per hour. Any further costs are the responsibility of the business.
  • Internships must last for a minimum of 70 hours and a maximum of 108 hours.
  • The intern’s salary must be a minimum of £8.72 per hour, or the National Living Wage.
  • All internships are based on a standard 35-hour working week; however, part-time internships are acceptable on a pro-rata basis.
