Commuting made easy with Miller Homes

Posted: 12th February 2019

Having a home within easy reach of your place of work is often at the top of the wish list for many househunters. Convenient routes to motorways and speedy rail links to avoid rush hour are important factors in the home buying process, and Miller Homes has a host of developments in the East of Scotland to make the daily commute a little easier.

In the popular seaside town of North Berwick, Ferrygate Meadow is an excellent choice for buyers who want to be within easy reach of Edinburgh. North Berwick railway station is just three quarters of a mile from the development and offers frequent trains to Waverly station with extra services during rush hour, allowing residents to swap frustrating traffic jams for a more relaxing commute. With Edinburgh just 30 minutes away by train, the development is perfect for those looking to settle down in a peaceful community outside of the city.

The Buttermere is an exceptional home for larger families, with a double garage adding plenty of

storage space. Natural light is maximised throughout the home, from the bay window in the lounge to the double patio doors in the breakfast area which open out to the back garden. The open plan kitchen is ideal for modern living with an adjoining laundry room and WC adding to the home’s practical nature.

Ensuring morning routines run without a hitch, two of the bedrooms upstairs include an ensuite and there is also a shared family bathroom. Adding a touch of luxury, the master bedroom also features a private dressing room, providing a wealth of stylish storage space.

The Buttermere at Plot 46 is priced at £426,995 and is available with Part Exchange, with buyers able to choose from either a contribution towards LBTT or carpets. For more information, interested buyers can speak to the Development Sales Manager on 03331 308 774.

In the West Lothian town of Bo’ness, Kinglass Fields is positioned in one of the most convenient locations in the central belt, ideal for those commuting to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling or the neighbouring town of Falkirk. Just a short 10-minute drive from Linlithgow railway station, and with easy access to the M9 and M8, buyers are perfectly placed for journeying to and from work.

A family centric development, the Douglas housetype is a great option for families looking to enjoy life in the historic town. The home is cleverly designed with an open plan kitchen, meaning the dining/family room can be tailored to suit buyers’ needs, and is the perfect place for relaxing and entertaining. The addition of a study makes a great home office, or even a play room for younger family members.

A central landing leads to four bedrooms upstairs and a main family bathroom. The master bedroom is placed at the front of the home and benefits from a large window, and includes a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite.

The Douglas at Plot 346 is priced at £274,995 and is available with Part Exchange. To hear more about the development, call 03300 378 381.

Close to the A7 and just half and hour’s drive from the centre of Edinburgh, Lady Victoria Grange truly offers the best of both worlds. In a beautiful location surrounded by woodland and a scenic riverbank, the development also benefits from the town’s Borders rail line, with frequent speedy services to Edinburgh and Midlothian, as well as the Scottish Borders.

Thoughtfully designed with modern living in mind, the Jura is a stand out family home. The open plan kitchen features a stylish breakfast bar which provides a natural divide between the kitchen and family room, with patio doors out to the back garden keeping the space bright and airy. For more formal dining or celebrating special occasions, a separate dining room with adjoining lounge is well suited for entertaining.

Five bedrooms centre around a feature gallery landing upstairs, providing plenty of room for large or growing families. Two windows bathe the master bedroom in natural light, creating a relaxing haven to unwind at the end of the day. The elegant room also features a contemporary ensuite and fitted wardrobes, providing additional stylish storage space.

Priced at £374,995 the Jura at Plot 41 is available with Part Exchange, and buyers can also choose from an added incentive of a contribution towards LBTT or carpets. Interested buyers can call 03300 379 163 to find out more.
