CMS and Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce host ESG event
Law firm CMS is joining forces with Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce to host a free-to-attend event focused on how ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles can be successfully implemented to improve the operations of a business.
Top Tips for Businesses – Implementing ESG Principles takes place at CMS’s Edinburgh office between 9 and 10.30am on 25th August. Attendees will hear from CMS, who will introduce a framework around ESG and share practical tips on how businesses can begin embedding its principles into their operations. The event will also include a presentation from Jayne Saywell of Black Skies Blue, a B Corp certification consultant.
A supporter the Edinburgh B Corp 500 project, an initiative which aims to help 500 local companies secure certification by 2030, Jayne will explore how B Corp can act as a practical measure of ESG, helping businesses turn commitments into measurable action. The event will also include a contribution from local business StudioLR, sharing its own experience of completing the B Corp certification process.

The Edinburgh B Corp 500 project is funded by the UK Government and supported by the City of Edinburgh Council.
