Capitals AIYF International Evening of Song

Capital Document Solutions are sponsoring the International Evening of Song on Thursday 4th August, with Ze’irey Afula and the Madison Youth Choir, at one of the world’s biggest celebrations of youth arts – the Aberdeen International Youth Festival.

Come along on Thursday 4th August, at 7.30pm in the ACT Aberdeen, to be entertained by Ze’irey Afula, the Madison Youth Choir plus local guests in a celebration of musical styles from around the world. Audiences can expect a varied repertoire of traditional song, contemporary favourites and big classical sounds.

There are 8 days of top class performances from across Scotland and the rest of the world – click below to have a look at the programme for 2016. AIYF began its life as a classical music festival in Switzerland in the 1960s and moved to Aberdeen in 1973, where orchestras and chamber musicians from across Europe gathered to perform and collaborate in a festival environment.

Today AIYF brings you the very best in international culture and the performing arts, theatre, dance, world music, opera, orchestras and jazz and continues its commitment to nurture and develop artistic and creative talent by providing world class venues for young people to perform inside.Over the years AIYF has hosted more than 25,000 young people from around the world, making it one of the biggest and most successful gatherings of youth talent held anywhere. Stewart Aitken, Chief Executive Officer and artistic director of AIYF, said: “We’re delighted that Capital Document Solutions has continued its support for this year’s festival. It is thanks to their support and that of other companies that we are able to provide a programme of such top class performers each year.”
