Calling all low carbon entrepreneurs in Scotland!

Posted: 25th July 2017

The Climate-KIC Accelerator Stage 2 at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation (ECCI) has opened for applications – giving fledgling climate entrepreneurs the chance to apply for dedicated support and funding of up to 20,000 euros.

The Climate-KIC Accelerator is a three-stage programme to get low carbon start-ups investment-ready.

Eight enterprises are currently taking part in the Climate-KIC Accelerator Stage 1 at ECCI, benefitting from thousands of euros of funding and a dedicated support to help them find a market niche, work out how to make money and scale their business.

Climate-KIC Accelerator Stage 2 offers entrepreneurs coaching, workshops and funding of up to 20,000 euros to validate their business model with customers. It’s open to businesses with an idea for a new product or service with the potential for substantial climate impact. Applicants must have a basic business model already defined, and a motivated team with at least two founders.
