Burges Salmon’s exceptional culture recognised as firm retains ‘Best Law Firm to Work At’ accolade for fourth consecutive year

Posted: 31st January 2025

The firm is once again named as the UK’s ‘Best Law Firm to Work At’, an accolade it has held since 2022

Independent UK law firm Burges Salmon is very proud to announce it has been named (in joint 1st place with Michelmores) ‘Best Law Firm to Work at 2025’, an accolade that the firm has achieved for the fourth year in a row. The rankings are based on a survey made available by legal news site RollOnFriday with thousands of UK lawyers and business professionals from private practice rating how satisfied they are with their firm’s leadership and culture, career development, pay, work/life balance and offices.

Burges Salmon has performed consistently well in the survey over the years, topping the rankings since 2022. We are grateful to the hundreds of people from across the firm who contributed to the 2025 survey to highlight Burges Salmon’s unique and exceptional working environment, which is deeply rooted in delivering an exceptional service to its clients and champions values of openness, inclusivity and support.

Burges Salmon’s Managing Partner, Roger Bull, says: “This is fantastic news. We’re absolutely delighted with this year’s result, which not only recognises our collaborative and inclusive workplace but importantly how we’ve consistently maintained one of the key aspects that our clients, people and communities value most about working with us: our culture. Culture requires continuous effort and engagement, with everyone at every level of the firm embracing the same values. We’re extremely proud of the supportive business we’ve built and are excited about the future as we continue to prioritise our clients and the wellbeing, development and growth of our people.”

Further demonstrating its commitment to its people, Burges Salmon retained its Platinum IiP ‘We invest in People accreditation, placing the firm at the top of the legal sector, benchmarking and ranking it in the top 5% of all organisations engaging with Investors in People and was recognised by Lamp House for its commitment to being a responsible business, one of only ten firms across the UK, US and Canada to be featured in the ‘Leading Firms’ category and ranked in the top 5% across the three leaderboards – people, planet and governance.
