Brodies launches Oil & Gas Academy summer series online
Leading Scottish and top 50* UK law firm, Brodies LLP is relaunching its Oil and Gas Academy programme as an online series this summer.
Aimed at in-house lawyers and commercial managers in the oil & gas sector, the seminars provide delegates with the opportunity to extend their depth of knowledge and breadth of skills.
Starting with a session focused on decommissioning, the summer series will be split into three, hour long webinars, featuring views from external speakers and insight from senior Brodies lawyers from across the firm. The full programme is as follows:
- ‘Alternative contract models for decommissioning’ – Thursday, 25 June at 2pm
- ‘Contracting in times of uncertainty’ – Thursday 30 July, 2pm
- ‘Understanding international arbitration’ – Thursday 3 September, 2pm
In addition to the Oil & Gas Academy summer series, Brodies runs an Enlightened Thinking virtual programme; a series of insightful sessions that cover a wide range of subjects, from legal developments that affect businesses, to topics of general interest, including a discussion on the race to the White House and an inspiring interview with quadruple amputee and mountaineer, Jamie Andrews.
