We are so excited to welcome you to an exclusive event celebrating our partnership with award winning rare whisky merchant Lady of the Glen.

Lady of the Glen has produced three whiskies as charity releases with proceeds going to Big Hearts, and we are hosting this tasting in partnership with them to celebrate all of our work.

Participants will enjoy 5 small batch whiskies from Lady of the Glen’s exclusive range.

In addition to the tasting, Tynecastle’s very own Executive Chef has come up with a menu of light bites to compliment the whiskies, you will get a chance to learn more about Big Hearts’ work, hear from a couple of HMFC legends, and take home your own whisky glass.

Gregor Hannah, founder of Lady of the Glen, shares his story below:

“I founded Lady of the Glen in 2012.  We are an independent bottler of single cask whiskies, based in Dalgety Bay.  I am proud to offer worldwide collectors extremely limited releases of premium, single malt. I personally guarantee that every cask has been taste-tested and independently bottled by us!

For me, it all started with a dram passed between father and son. My dad was a piper in the Army, travelling the world. He used to receive bottles of whisky as gifts. A passion became a profession.

I’m a huge Hearts fan, growing up attending many matches at Tynecastle. I grew up in the West of Edinburgh where Big Hearts operates, so it made sense to get involved to support their great work.

I first approached Big Hearts in the summer of 2019 with the idea to make a charity release to raise funds. It took a bit of time because Big Hearts had never done retail before. I’m glad I was able to help them take the first step.”
