This year’s recipients – selected from communities across Balfour Beatty’s military, residential, and student housing portfolios, demonstrate academic excellence, community engagement, and a determination to achieve meaningful career paths.
Selected based on academic performance, leadership, community service, and personal aspirations, this year’s scholarship recipients are pursuing a diverse range of degrees and certifications in fields such as healthcare administration, nursing, criminology and social work.
Linda Bradley, a Board Member of the Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation said: “This programme is one of the most meaningful ways we give back to our residents.
“In line with our We Care culture, we’re not just supporting education—we’re investing in stronger communities.”
Isabelle Scott scholarship recipient and resident at Minot AFB Homes said: “It’s a big relief. Being 8 months pregnant and trying to go to school, the scholarship takes a lot of weight off our shoulders and is a big help.”
Launched in 2007, the Foundation’s scholarship programme has grown steadily, marking its 18th year of support for residents nationwide. To date, more than $1.9 million (£1.4 million) has been awarded to residents seeking college degrees, technical certifications, and other higher education opportunities.
