A unique scholarship opportunity for Scottish business

Posted: 9th April 2020

A unique scholarship opportunity for Scottish business here at Heriot Watt University, the Skills Scotland Scholarship for Business

You know us primarily for being leaders in providing practical and flexible work-based learning through our Graduate Apprenticeships programme.

However, as pioneers in education, we’re also committed to building partnerships that not only help businesses prepare for the future, but can also help you navigate the current crisis we are facing.

And that’s why we’re delighted to launch a new Skills Scotland Scholarship programme, supported through funding from Scottish Funding Council, for working professionals living in Scotland. And to help businesses further at this difficult time, we’re offering significant discounts of 75% for small-medium sized companies, and 50% for large companies.

The courses on offer are new for 2020 and have been developed specifically to help businesses improve their productivity through the upskilling and re-skilling of key employees. Your employees will study online, at a pace that suits them, and have full access to our state-of-the-art online learning platform – potentially an ideal solution for many people who are adapting to flexible remote working.

The scholarship offers access to discounted masters-level courses from our MBA programme, across a range of key business disciplines:

  • Delivering Successful Projects
  • Leadership, Theory and Practice
  • Financial Decision Making
  • People, Work and Organisations
  • Strategic Marketing

Follow this link to find out all you need to know about the individual courses and how to apply.
