LNER ‘a week in Beijing’
Laetitia Beneteau, in charge of International Markets for LNER, briefed the travel industry and media representatives in the Chinese market on LNER, the destinations, facilities on-board LNER and at stations.

Liu Huan, a well-known Chinese travel blogger and designer of the LNER Chinese travel brochure, also shared her travel experience with LNER in December talking in detail about the destinations and interacted with the media.
During the press conference, LNER introduced all their destinations, the launch of Lincoln and Harrogate services as well as the unveiling of their new Azuma train this year which will transform rail travel in the UK.
By 2020, 65 new Azuma trains will be put into operation, which will provide guests with a faster and smarter ride experience.
During the trip LNER met with Ctrip, GO Euro and many Tour Operators and Destination Management Companies – promoting the ease of travelling by train to Scotland and looking at better ways to distribute and package these product in the Chinese Market. This sales mission resulted in great Media exposure, helped create new relationships as well as strengthening existing ones.
LNER was supported by their PR agency China Travel Outbound who organized this trip and facilitated the Press conference and did an excellent job representing LNER and the UK destinations.
