Edinburgh Rugby today announced a new services partnership with local digital, event and creative communications company 20/20 Productions, which will see the two organisations team up to enhance the club’s video content.  In an exciting time for the club, 20/20 productions role is to go behind-the-scenes to gain rich and exclusive content for Edinburgh Rugby’s fan-base, as well as drawing new audiences to the capital outfit. The features will embrace the nitty-gritty of elite-professional rugby and the inner-workings of the capital’s premier club.

The video features will be hosted on Edinburgh Rugby’s YouTube channel and promoted via the club’s social media platforms, reaching an audience of tens-of-thousands both locally and further afield. The award-winning 20/20 Productions will also use its digital expertise to produce a new opening sequence for Edinburgh Rugby’s weekly magazine show, and will also film, produce and edit the player headshots, which will be shown at each of the club’s home fixtures, starting from Friday 29 August when the club face Newcastle Falcons at BT Murrayfield (kick-off 7.35pm).

Edinburgh Rugby’s Managing Director Jonny Petrie, said: “Edinburgh Rugby is delighted to welcome 20/20 Productions, a widely respected and award-winning local business, into the club’s family of partners. “By working together we can take our broadcast content to the next-level, giving supporters an insight into Edinburgh Rugby. “I’m excited about seeing the end products, and I’m sure our fans will be too.”

Speaking about the new partnership 20/20 Productions Managing Director Alastair Scott said: “As a long-time fan of Edinburgh Rugby, this was an opportunity we couldn’t miss and I am excited about working so closely with the team on the project.  “Using our expert experience and creative minds we are looking forward to working with Edinburgh Rugby and Scottish Rugby’s in-house broadcast team to enhance the club’s video product.”
