2019 Edinburgh Community Resilience Week – Limited places available
Limited places are available for 2019 Edinburgh Community Resilience Week, being held on Tuesday 2 April – Thursday 4 April. The events aim to further enhance resilience and promote understanding between key sectors and organisations within Edinburgh.
Tuesday 2 April
AM: Opening Event the City of Edinburgh Council – Current Resilience Risks and Issues Conference.
PM: University of Edinburgh Business School Resilience Roundtable (Infrastructure Projects; Queensferry Crossing / Forth Road Bridge Closure)
Wednesday 3 April
PM: Police Scotland – Prevent Seminar (Manchester Arena Terror Attack Case Study)
Thursday 4 April
AM: Police Scotland – Protect Seminar (Counter Terrorism Awareness / Project Argus)
The event objectives are to:
- gain insight and knowledge into current resilience and national security issues from high calibre speakers
- enhance your organisation’s preparedness
- network with other organisations across a wide range of sectors
- raise awareness of CONTEST through Police Scotland led training
The week is aimed at specialists or those with an interest in business continuity, emergency planning and security issues.
