Our 'Promoting Diversity in the Workplace' section, like the rest of the Edinburgh Chamber website, has been designed to be accessible to as many different browsing devices as possible.
Web Accessibility Guidelines
The coding and structure of the 'Promoting Diversity' pages complies with at least Level A conformance with version 1.0 of the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Please note that many of the PDF documents made available through this section are supplied by third party organisations and websites. We cannot guarantee that these documents are structured in accordance with WCAG.
Stylesheets
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are used to format the pages for display on computer monitors, and to ensure that background images and colours intended only for screen display do not appear when pages are printed.
The CSS code we have used is compatible with the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer for Windows (versions 5.5 and above)
- Firefox (all versions)
- Opera (versions 7.0 and above)
- Mozilla (all versions)
- Netscape Navigator (versions 7.0 and above)
