Edinburgh-wide Incubator Project (EWIP)

We have a passion for enterprise and believe everyone should have the opportunity to find out if setting up in business is right for them. We know that not everyone will come to mainstream business start up services, which is why we set up three business incubator projects in the regeneration areas of Edinburgh.



Based in North Edinburgh, Craigmillar and Wester Hailes, our award-winning business incubators offer an informal walk-in support service for all local residents and businesses. We provide support to all residents, no matter their background, who wish to explore self-employment as a realistic option to improve their circumstances. Independent and confidential advice, specialist support, access to funding, up-skilling and encouragement are all available through our incubators.

In addition to our Dynamic Places awards, we are delighted to have been Highly Commended for our business incubator activity in the prestigious SURF Awards 2009.
