Affordable, quality childcare is fundamental to a successful economic infrastructure.
Without access to childcare many of the those that can work can't take up opportunities and are therefore not able to contribute to a successful economy.
Childcare is a growing area and at Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce we believe that we should support this area through business development support, encouraging best practice in supporting employees at work with childcare issues, and lobbying for affordable, accessible quality childcare for all those who need or want it.

Tourism is vital to Edinburgh's economy. The Edinburgh Chamber provides business and skills development support tailored to this growing sector.
As a member of the Edinburgh Tourism Action Group (ETAG), a public/private partnership aimed at further establishing Edinburgh on the global map, we strive to promote and develop Edinburgh's tourism businesses.
